Hub for cash
67making money from hubs
many of us here on hubpages aspire to make thousands from the site, this is why we continue to write here everyday, and lets be honest theyre quite good to us as-well allowing us 60% of the income we generate. Although this all sounds good the reality is that many people struggle to make money from their hubs, it seems that the hot topic always is why arent I making any money? or 'Ive been here for 2 years and haven't made a single dime' well theres something with these two kinds of hubbers that you will probably find by checking them out, they probably have only been with hubpages for a few days and have expected miracles or have been here for years and have only written one article. Whatever the reason there are ways you can make it better and Im going to show you just how you can do this. First of all you need to decide what you want to write about and we'll take it from there.
Money money money
What to do? Dont panic!
Thats right, dont panic and dont rush. Making money online is all about time and patience, if you have good content and a few keywords then eventually you will make money from the system Im going to show you to follow. Wants important about this system is that you must follow it but not obsess, obsessing over it would cause the quality of your content to deteriorate which would only look bad on you in the long run, also search engines may punish you for this obsession, you'll find out what I mean further on.
Where to start?
Well once you have a topic in mind you'll be keen to get started but hang on a second, you need to do some research and when I say research I dont necessarily mean the usual find info about your topic to write about, what I mean is keyword research. Keyword research is what keeps you ahead of the game, it allows you to see what terms people are searching for in google, how often these terms are searched, how hard it is to be ranked in google for that term and also around about how much you will receive per click on an advertisement.
So what you need to do now is head over to google's search based keyword tool which allows you to do all of the above. How it works is you type a certain term or keyword into the tool and then a few seconds later it will give you a list to all the keywords related to the word or phrase you have chosen to search yourself.
The list will contain a lot of information, you need to take it all into account. The main things to look at are how competitive the term is, how much you are going o be paid per click (it might not be worth your time) and how may times a month it is searched. So if I were you I wouldnt try to compete with terms which are covered heavily already otherwise you risk not being noticed at all in the search engines, especially google. You should aim for a term that has over a thousand views a month, this means that there should be enough traffic possibly coming your way each month to guarantee you a few clicks.

Great insight into Google's keyword research tool. It really is the best free tool available, so long as you know what criteria are the most important, which clearly you do.
Well written Hub. I think we both share the same goals when it comes to our Hubpages, and how important it is to still provide quality content on our hubs, even though they are designed to bring us some extra $$
Enjoyed the Hub, and look forward to reading more of your submissions...
